Playroom Refresh

Budget: $1,500

This basement was originally a gym, mudroom, and playroom all in one. To make the room work and look better, the gym equipment was removed to make plenty of space for a dedicated play area. We bought a foam couch, play mats, and small toy cubby, then added a free play kitchen and kid table with chairs from a Facebook Buy Nothing group. We bought a playmat from House of Noa for tumbling and used an old rug from storage for under the activity table. Lastly, we painted the walls a nice calming blue to help make the space feel like a real room, not just a basement. Now the kiddos can have plenty of space to run around - without tripping over a treadmill!
