Kid Bedroom Redesign

Budget: $600

For this kid bedroom redesign, we decided to brighten the small space with a warm white paint, switch out the furniture with items they already had, add fun star decals, replace the curtains, place a rug over the carpet (yes, you can do that!) and change the light fixture to something a bit softer. We picked a color palette of grays, blues, and hints of yellow/gold to create cohesion in the room without it being too ‘themey.’ A year later, we replaced the carpet as well to give it a softer look & feel. Now, the room feels cozier, refined, and suitable for a growing toddler.
