Open Concept Refresh
Budget: $5,000
My client moved into a beautiful new build but felt the space lacked their personal style. Plus, it didn’t have great flow or enough storage for all of the toys and art projects given the smaller open concept footprint. They wanted to keep the couch, armchairs, and wall art but were open to new dining/kitchen furniture, rugs, and decor. So, the first thing we did was install custom cabinetry in the living room for hidden storage. Then, we had a custom banquette made so there would be plenty of seating but better flow in between the dining and living areas. We also changed the kitchen stools and living room rug that wasn’t the right size for the space. Lastly, we added decorative and personal touches to bring the room altogether. Now, the open concept has great flow and looks cohesive from every angle.
